include's offer to engage hard to reach young people

include is a recognised provider of programmes aimed at engaging those young people who are hard to reach. Currently we are currently delivering a number of programmes in Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire Berkshire and Wiltshire. It is our intention to manage and deliver new programmes in other parts of the country by drawing on the expertise gained through current delivery and our skills and experience of dealing with those young people who are at risk of being excluded from mainstream education, training and employment.

include programmes are aimed at young people who are either in the ‘not in employment education or training’ (NEET) group post 16, or those at Key Stage 4 who are likely to become NEET. All of these young people are not yet in a position to take up a mainstream learning or work opportunity. It is intended that with focussed, timely and flexible support from a dedicated worker, each young person will be able to obtain and maintain a place in a mainstream destination within a period of 16 weeks.

include offers a service that is flexible and tailored to the unique and personal needs of individuals. With our broad curriculum offer and use of creative learning methods our programme’s staff will be able to establish a robust programme quickly and efficiently so supporting young people and establishing them in sustainable post 16 options.

include programmes use a combination of solution focused, cognitive behavioural and neuro-linguistic approaches to creating effective change with the beneficiary within a 16- week maximum intervention. This combination enables the workers on the programmes to draw on the strengths that the young people recognise in themselves, address areas of concern from an objective and educative point of view, and actively encourage the generation of new, and empowered narratives of the future.

include programmes build links with a number of local agencies including; Connexions, e2e providers, drug agencies, mental health authorities, Youth Offending Services, Social Services departments, youth services, the local authorities’ Teenage Pregnancy Partnership Board; Sure Start, and The Family Nurturing Network and housing charities, together with other voluntary and community groups.
